Kick’s We Like: Travis Scott’s Cactus Jordan IV’s and Astroworld AF-1’s
Travis Scott has been an inferno lately. He just dropped one of the most anticipated album releases of the year: the 17 track Astroworld (featuring the likes of Frank Ocean and cough cough, Drake).
His accompanying clothing drop consisting of 28 pieces being partially sold in 24-hour increments, is being hyped through all the typical channels.
The album cover itself has even spurred some controversy.
AIR JORDAN IV TRAVIS SCOTT
A few months ago, he dropped one of the sickest kicks of the year: the iconic Jordan Cactus IV’s in Houston Oiler colors (light blue, red, and white).
While selling out almost immediately, you can still manage to pick them up at Stock X for about three bills.
Featuring blue suede uppers, and (his record label) Cactus Joe branding on left heel and right insole, if you have some cash to spend and you’re looking to flex something that will break necks other than some Off-Whites, these are an obvious choice.
AIR FORCE 1 LOW TRAVIS SCOTT
If tackling the classic IV wasn’t enough, Scott has now taken on the iconic Air Force 1, with impeccable results.
In one of the cleanest and steezworthy reinterpretations of the AF-1 ever, Scott is quickly establishing himself as a can’t miss player in the celebrity kick design game.
The shoe itself is an all linen canvas with removable (chrome) swoosh’s, removable Cactus Jack tongue patches, upside down Nike logo and swoosh on the heel, and gum soles.
Absolute butter.
Kicks you’d be proud to flex on any occasion except a mud run.
